Matt Romagna is a singer, songwriter, and music producer from New Jersey. Drawing from inspirations such as Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Jack Johnson, and Paul Simon, Matt's music brings a sense of melody and timelessness to contemporary pop/folk.
Matt grew up in a musical family and began playing instruments at an early age. By the time he was 12 he was writing his own songs and playing in numerous bands. He attended Berklee College of Music in Boston and graduated with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production in 2011.
Upon graduating Matt worked at Bennett Studios in Englewood, NJ. It was there that he met producer/engineer Rich Keller (Alicia Keys, DMX, Snoop Dogg) and the two became friends. For the next year and a half Matt continued to write music while sharing his songs with Keller. After some time the two began working together on the production of Matt's first EP, titled 'We Will Be Alright.'
Matt is currently playing shows with his band as work continues on promoting his new release.
