“The singer/songwriter genre may connote heartbreak and misery but Matt Romagna refreshingly opts for joyfulness.”
- Zach Weg, The Deli Magazine
Growing up in a musical family, Matt was immersed in music from a young age. He graduated Berklee College of Music in Boston with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production in 2011.
After Berklee, Romagna worked at Bennett Studios in Englewood, NJ. It was there he met producer/engineer Rich Keller (Alicia Keys, DMX, Snoop Dogg) and the two began working on the production of Romagna’s first EP, titled “We Will Be Alright.”
Recently Matt has been interviewed on Sirius XM Radio, performed in BMI’s Acoustic Lounge: New York, and featured in The Deli Magazine as one of New York City’s emerging artists.
Matt is currently playing shows with his band as work continues on an upcoming release.
